IAAF World Championships in Athletics
By hosting the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics berlin 2009™, Berlin joins a fine group of successful host cities. In addition to the eight other European cities that have been host to the event, there have also been one North American and two Asian cities among the organisers.
